Eulogy comments:

John Alto (Aerorifle Platoon Leader): SGT Don Mounce was one of the tried and true Sergeants that I inherited as a 23 year old 2nd Lieutenant Aerorifle Rifle Platoon Leader. He was a quiet soldier, carefully taking care of himself, and the men under him; and the men he was serving under, including me. He was a professional infantryman who brought experience and confidence to the platoon.
